Bagasse is the fibre left over after sugarcane is pressed for juice. It is pulped and heat-moulded into sturdy plates, bowls, trays and takeaway boxes, with no plastic added.
It holds hot, oily and wet food without leaking, goes in the microwave and freezer, and is the everyday choice for takeaway, delivery and canteens.
Each piece is pressed from a single fallen areca leaf using heat and water. No coatings, linings or binders, and every plate carries its own natural grain.
Rigid and heat tolerant, areca is the premium line for catering, events and restaurants that care about presentation.
